This livery is for the Heatblur F-14B for DCS and represents VF-102 during their 2002 Operation Enduring Freedom deployment. 9 of VF-102's 10 jets are represented here. The 10th, AB102/BuNo 163225, comes by default with the Heatblur F-14B. A folder and alternative description file is included in this pack if you want 102 to have name consistency with this pack.

Installation:

1) Drop the F-14B folder in this file into your "Saved Games\DCS or DCS.openbeta\Liveries" folder.

2) Select the livery in DCS mission editor

Optional description for 102:

A) Copy the contents of the "Optional\F-14B\VF-102 OEF 102" folder into the "Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Liveries\f-14b\VF-102 Diamondbacks 102" folder and overwrite. However, this will not pass checks for MP and will need to be repeated after every update, so I recommend Option B

B) Copy the "Optional\F-14B\VF-102 OEF 102" folder into your "Saved Games\DCS or DCS.openbeta\Liveries\F-14B" folder. Copy the .DDS files from "Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\aircraft\F14\Liveries\f-14b\VF-102 Diamondbacks 102" into the "VF-102 OEF 102 folder. This will create a new entry on the liveries list without impacting MP checks.

Known Bugs:

1) No crew names on canopy rail.

I was unable to find quality images of all aircraft in the squadron showing crew names. Since I am attemtpting to replicate the whole squadron and the simulations in DCS are usually fictional situations, I have decided to forgo crew names at this time. Perhaps in the future.

This livery remains a work in progress. Please enjoy!
